GOD’S EYE VIEW – 2018
This 4 image series presents a graphic and detailed glimpse into the immense scale of our natural world. From this perspective ordinary objects become mere abstractions. Highways appear as wispy brushstrokes strewn across the landscape and the hard edge of a cloud’s shadow can appear as an ominous monster sweeping over the landscape.
These particular images are intended to be printed large (40” X 60”) allowing the periphery to fall off immersing the viewer into the details of the work.
It’s my hope that for a moment these images can take the viewer to a state of wonder and introspection where the dreams of flight are real and the perspective of knowing that the scary cloud overhead will give way once again to clear skies.
